About the Event

Hope CommUnity Center is supporting the direct engagement and empowerment of Gen Z and Millennial Floridians who are fed up with the state they've inherited and desire a more just Florida they can be proud to call home. To do this, they will launch a series of trainings across central and south Florida. At these trainings, everyone will work to bring about the next generation of engaged organizers who will defend true democracy and build something new - Hope CommUniversity, a dedicated place to build social movements creating a legacy of hope!

In June, we will gather in Miami, FL with 250 youth organizers from across the state to develop our collective capacity to organize and practice leadership in our communities. For 2.5 days, we will learn about leadership through practice and application, rooting our learning in organizing principles that are accessible, exciting, and deeply connected to our heritage and culture.
